ABOUT MERYL KRIEGER

As a coach I focus on the goals of my clients, working to help them share who they are in their communities, with their networks, and professionally. I want my clients to come away from their work with me excited and empowered with an understanding of the value they bring through a powerful professional story. I believe in helping others build powerful bridges between who they are and the professional they aspire to be.

 

I began my life as a musician hiding beneath the piano during my older sisters’ piano lessons at age three and began performing for audiences at age five - first on the piano, then on stage, then on clarinet. As I got older I discovered three driving interests: I have the "teaching bug", I love to develop programming and solve problems in my communities, and I ask lots of questions about the world around me. What ties it all together is my commitment to empower my clients to a meaningful and satisfying career.

Whether you're embarking on your first career or your fifth, having a professional story to share that helps others understand your values, experiences, and expertise is the key to unlocking a satisfying career.

Stories are a universal of human experience. We tell them as a way of creating meaning for ourselves and to make connections with those around us. I founded Career Coaching for Creatives as a way to build a platform to teach you how to articulate your own values and create both meaning and connection in your own life.

As a musician, performer, and writer, stories have been the core of my life, and understanding the journeys people take in their lives is my interest. My goal in our work together is to help you find ways to share your story with others, and to develop the tools you need to use that story effectively in your life.
